History
The first show was performed in 1972 and since then it has been held annually in theatres around Warwickshire. Since 1991 the show has had the Royal Spa Centre, Leamington Spa as its home.
150 Gang Members rehearse from October each year to prepare the show. Many others assist behind the scenes.

Some of the cast from WAGS 2024 were invited down to the Odeon Theatre in Leicester Square, London to perform for Girlguiding Celebrates (Girlguiding’s annual awards ceremony for the UK).
2024
Members of the WAGS cast performed in Gang Show 90 at the Eventim Apollo, London to celebrate 90 years of the Gang Show.
2022
Joined with Coventry, KEGS and Nuneaton Gang Shows for 4Gangshows 4 Action for Children at the Warwick Arts Centre, Butterworth Hall.
2017
WAGS one night special at Royal Shakespeare Theatre in aid of Myton Hospice.
2014
WAGS performed at GS80 at the Birmingham Hippodrome celebrating 80 years of Gang Show.
2012
WAGS Dance Team performed at the Playhouse Theatre, London in aid of Over the Wall.
2011
WAGS performed at the Festival of Scouting at the O2 Arena, London.
2007
WAGS performed at the World Scout Jamboree Heads of Contingent meeting.

WAGS performed at the National Scout Conference.

WAGS performed as part of the Millennium Celebrations.

(7th October) performed at the Royal Albert Hall in the “Spotlight”.

WAGS on tour around the County.

WAGS performed under canvas in a Circus Big Top.

Royal Gala performance in front of HRH Princess Anne at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford upon Avon.
1984
WAGS performed in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, US. There was an hour-long televised documentary on the trip.
1982
First show at the Pavilion in Leamington Spa.
